1. Of course, you need to be a user of ebizship.
To become an ebizship user, please sign up at: the link. Only company's employee and affiliates, our friends, and other authorized people are allowed to use this prepaid shipping label printing service.
2. Set up your Carrier Account.
For now, we only provide FedEx shipping. Please click the "New" button to get a signed ebizship FedEx account number in our system. If you want to use multiple "ship from" addresses, please create multiple carrier accounts.
3. Set up your Webstore Account.
For now, we only accept paypal transactions. Please click the "New" button to add a web store account in our system. You should create multiple web store accounts if you have more than one paypal accounts. YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU ONLY USE OUR SYSTEM TO PRINT OUT SHIPPING LABELS FROM OFF-PAYPAL OR OTHER SOURCES.
4. Set up your Shipping Template.
For now, we only accept US domestic shipping.
a. Name: Pick a meaningful name for each shipping template. We would strongly suggest the following names: FedEx Home, FedEx Ground, FedEx Home/ground, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx Two days, FedEx Standard Overnight. You might want to replace FedEx with FEX or use other abbreviations to save more space on your web page.
b. Customer Label Notice: The notice will be printed at the bottom of your shipping label. Maybe for the first time, you will see a shipping notice watermark on your shipping label. The use of shipping notice watermark is a revolution brought by ebizship to the shipping label generating technology. A shipping notice watermark will dramatically help user to identify a shipping label and know what is needed to do with the shipping label. By default, the Product Template Description, Transaction Item Title (ebay item title), tracking number and shipping label name will be selected as the shipping notice and be printed on shipping label.
c. E-mail Notifications: Email notifications are used to send e-mails to the user and the recipient indicating the shipment status, such as pick up, delivered, and so on.
d. Auto-Adjust Residential: By checking this box, the system will automatically check the destination address type (residential or commercial) and select the correct shipping methods (home or ground). Please check this box when you set up your FedEx Home/ground shipping template.
5. Set up your Product Template.
a. We suggest you set up product templates for each eBay item you are selling.
b. Name: Select a unique and meaningful "name" for each product template, such as wii console, wii fit, wii console+play+nunchuk to distinguish with other transactions.
c. Description: Carefully write the "description" to reflect what you want to do to recognize and handle the package, such as "new wii console, take out receipt", "take out office basic cd", "add a Bluetooth adapter" and so on.
d. Default: check this box if the shipping template is the most common one.
e. Linked Domestic Shipping Template: Select a "Linked Domestic Shipping Template" if you always want to use this specific shipping method for this product. Note: You still can change the shipping template before you print the shipping label.
f. Product Template Keywords: The system will automatically match the transaction title with the keywords to identify the relevant product template after you download the transactions or set up the keywords. Please carefully select the Product Template Keywords and make the Product Template Keywords unique for each different eBay items. You might want to simply put the whole eBay title as the "All These Words". You can test the keywords After you download the transactions. Some examples: Wii console only-> All These Words: "new wii console only", Wii console, play, nunchuk bundle-> All These Words: "new wii console play nunchuk bundle", Wii console and wii play bundle-> All These Words: "new wii console play" Not Any of These Words: "nunchuck".
6. Purchase your Postage.
You have to purchase postage before you can print out shipping labels.
a. Buy postage: You can pay by paypal or Bank of American (BOA) money transfer. BOA is strongly recommended unless you dont have BOA account or you need immediate postage credit to print out shipping labels. For BOA payment, it might take one to two business days before your postage credit is posted in your account.
b. Postage transactions: You can check the history of postage transactions.
7. Congratulations!
You have done all the work before you start to print out your first ebizship shipping label.
8. Transactions
Always click "Refresh" button to download all your paypal transactions within the selected date range.
a. Our system will automatically separate completed/cleared payment transactions and all other paypal transactions such as paypal payment holding, pending eCheck, and so on.
b. You can either check "All" or select some transactions and click "Bulk" to print out all or selected transaction shipping labels in batch or select one transaction and click "Single" to only print out the selected transaction shipping label.
c. For some transactions, you might want to mark them as "Shipped" or "Others". Please select the transactions and click the relevant buttons.
9. Label Management
You can print out and manage shipping labels and track shipping status here. TO AVOID YOUR POSTAGE BEING HELD, YOU MUST CANCEL THE SHIPPING LABELS ASAP (usually within 24 hours or less) IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO USE THEM.
a. New Blank Shipping button: Print out a shipping label without a downloaded transaction.
b. Print Single Label button: To print out one shipping label.
c. (Re)Print Labels button: To print more than one label, user must select the labels and click this button.
d. Download Labels (PDF) button: User can download the selected label(s) as a PDF file.
e. Download Labels (ZIP) button: User can download the selected label(s) as a ZIP file.
